Corporate School Sponsorship · Confirmed PBO Status
One pledge. Four years of AI-driven Maths & Science for an entire school. Section 18A tax deductible, B-BBEE SED qualified, and ESG aligned — with brand-attributed impact reports every quarter.
A Lenillium corporate school sponsorship is structured to satisfy your finance team, your ESG team, and your board simultaneously — without requiring a separate CSI programme for each objective.
As a confirmed Public Benefit Organisation, Lenillium issues official Section 18A tax certificates on every qualifying sponsorship. Your company deducts the full contribution from taxable income — up to 10% per year — turning a social investment into a financial benefit your CFO will approve.
Section 18A · Up to 10% of taxable incomeQualifying donations to previously disadvantaged communities count as Socio-Economic Development spend under the B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice. Lenillium provides the supporting documentation your verification agency requires — no extra admin on your side.
B-BBEE SED · Verified spend documentationLenillium sponsorships map directly to UN SDG 4 (Quality Education) and support GRI Standards (GRI 203, GRI 413) and SASB disclosures. Quarterly reports give your sustainability team the verified learner and improvement data they need to substantiate SDG commitments in integrated reports.
ESG · UN SDG 4 · GRI · SASB readyAdopt a school and put your brand on it — literally. Naming rights, school signage, co-branded quarterly press releases, and social media attribution are all part of the agreement. For four years, your company's name is synonymous with real results in a real community.
Co-branding · Adopt-a-school · PR attributionA standard school sponsorship works out to roughly R74 per learner per year for a full CAPS-aligned, AI-driven, multilingual Maths & Science deployment — less than a set of textbooks, but with four years of tracked, brand-attributed outcomes that no textbook can provide.
Lenillium is built with corporate compliance officers in mind. Here is the detail behind each of the three qualifying categories — and exactly what you receive as documentation.
Section 18A allows taxpayers to deduct qualifying donations to an approved PBO from their taxable income. Lenillium Education holds confirmed PBO status, making every sponsorship potentially deductible.
The Socio-Economic Development element rewards contributions that promote access to the economy for previously disadvantaged persons. Under-resourced school communities qualify squarely within this definition.
Lenillium sponsorships are structured to support your company's non-financial disclosure obligations. Every metric your sustainability team needs is tracked and provided in your quarterly report.
This is an illustrative calculation only. The actual deduction is limited to 10% of taxable income in the year of donation, and excess may be carried forward. Consult your tax advisor for an authoritative assessment of your specific position. The 27% corporate tax rate applies from the 2023 tax year for South African companies.
Lenillium offers five sponsorship tiers designed to match the scale of your CSI budget — from a single-school commitment to a transformational, multi-country programme. Every tier includes the same compliance benefits: Section 18A, B-BBEE SED, and ESG reporting.

We understand that corporate sponsorship decisions require sign-off from multiple stakeholders. Here is the governance and legal foundation of the Lenillium programme.
Lenillium Education is a registered Public Benefit Organisation under the South African Income Tax Act — a prerequisite for Section 18A certificate issuance. PBO number and SARS letter are available on request.
Every sponsorship is governed by a formal four-party agreement between your company, Lenillium Education, Division One, and the partner school — setting out deliverables, reporting timelines, branding rights, and accountability measures.
Learner numbers, utilisation rates, and mark improvements are tracked at the school level and available for third-party verification. We provide the underlying data — not just a headline number.
Lenillium is operational today across 19 schools in an estimated 6 provinces, reaching 12,871 learners. School names, locations, and per-school figures are published on our Results page — nothing is hidden.
Funds move from your company directly to Lenillium Education (PBO), then to Division One for platform delivery. No funds pass through the school itself — protecting both the school and your company's reputational interests.
On request, we provide: PBO certificate, specimen four-party agreement, specimen 18A certificate, specimen B-BBEE letter, and specimen quarterly impact report — so you see exactly what you will receive before committing.
We are happy to engage with your in-house legal counsel, external tax advisors, or B-BBEE verification agency directly to answer specific technical questions. Contact us at info@lenillium.org to request a due diligence call with your advisors.
Yes. Lenillium Education holds confirmed Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) status under the South African Income Tax Act. Every qualifying corporate sponsorship receives an official Section 18A tax certificate, making the contribution deductible from your company's taxable income up to 10% of taxable income in the year of donation. The certificate is issued within 30 days of your pledge being confirmed.
Yes. Donations to previously disadvantaged communities — such as the under-resourced schools Lenillium serves — qualify as Socio-Economic Development (SED) spend under the B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice. Lenillium provides a beneficiary demographics letter and spend verification documentation structured for your B-BBEE verification agency — no additional admin on your side.
A Single School sponsorship starts at R200,000 once-off (Standard) or R240,000 (Premium). Both cover a complete four-year deployment of DIGIMaths and DIGIScience for one school — including platform licences for all enrolled learners, teacher training, learner onboarding, 24-hour support, and all platform upgrades for the full term. There are no annual renewal fees and no hidden costs.
Yes. Lenillium will present a selection of matched schools based on your geographic, sector, or community preferences — or you can nominate a specific school you already have a relationship with. Lenillium then assesses the school for commitment and institutional readiness and, if eligible, brings them into the programme as your named partner school.
Yes. Lenillium's 'adopt-a-school' model allows co-branding the programme with your company name — for example, "Powered by [Company Name]" or a custom programme title. This includes school signage, brand attribution in all quarterly reports, and press releases and social media content that name your company as the sponsor. The exact scope of branding is agreed in the four-party partnership agreement before the sponsorship begins.
Corporate sponsors receive brand-attributed quarterly impact reports covering verified learner enrolment, platform utilisation rates, and academic improvement figures. An annual year-end summary includes ready-to-use narrative descriptions aligned to UN SDG 4, GRI 203, GRI 413, and SASB standards. The data is designed to feed directly into your integrated annual report, sustainability report, or ESG disclosure without additional processing.
Most schools are live on the Lenillium platform within 30 days of the four-party agreement being signed. Lenillium handles all teacher training, learner enrolment, device setup, and onboarding — your role as sponsor is simply to confirm your pledge, sign the agreement, and communicate any branding preferences. From that point, Lenillium manages everything operational.
Every sponsorship is governed by a formal four-party agreement between your company, Lenillium Education (PBO), Division One (technology partner), and the school. Funds flow from your company directly to Lenillium Education, then to Division One for platform delivery — never through the school itself. Quarterly reports provide verified utilisation data. On request, we share the PBO certificate, specimen agreement, specimen 18A certificate, and specimen impact report so you can assess our documentation before committing.
